15th Annual SMRP
Conference
October 7 – 10, 2007

After drawing a record
1,000-plus attendees to Birmingham, Alabama in 2006, the Society for
Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) heads to Louisville,
Kentucky for its 15th Annual Conference.
Louisville's only downtown
waterfront hotel, the Galt House Hotel and Suites, will host this year’s
event. The 1,300-room Galt House is the largest hotel in Kentucky. It
has won numerous awards and has just completed a $60 million renovation
project.
Once again, the conference
is highlighting speaker tracks on the five SMRP core bodies of
knowledge: Business and Management; Manufacturing Process Reliability;
Equipment Reliability; People Skills; and Work Management. An additional
SMRP Initiatives Track, educational sessions and six full-day training
workshops round out the program.
Plant tours include visits
to Gallatin Steel, Raytheon, Ford Motor Company’s Kentucky Truck Plant
and the National Corvette Museum/Bowling Green Assembly Plant. Tours
have limited seating and are open on a first-come basis.
The conference also includes
an exciting keynote presentation by former California Angels ball player
John Cassis and a networking reception at the Louisville Slugger Museum.
