Gary
Divo
maintenance leader, Euclid Industries
Many times, the best
stories come straight from the source. Facilities manager Paul Meisel
had this to say about maintenance leader Gary Divo on his All-Pro Team
nomination form:
“Gary has been with
Euclid Industries for 23 years and has really grown with the company.
When he arrived, our main building was a converted 20,000-square-foot
gas station. With little formal training, Gary assumed the “go-to
guy” role for all electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems in
this facility, which is now 130,000 square feet and employs 200
people.
“Gary
is the most dedicated hourly maintenance leader this company has
known. Some of the projects he has supervised are complete
installation of 16 Okuma CNC cutting lathes, drilling and milling
machines, and, most recently, the addition of robots and automatic
gauging. Gary’s work ranges from planning to installation to
maintaining the plant facility and equipment. He strives to achieve
minimal downtime and no interruption of part flow to our customer
(General Motors Powertrain Division).”
