Bill Baraglia, the
vice president of manufacturing at Chicago White Metal Casting in
Bensenville, Ill., had this to say about 11-year veteran Efrain Ocampo:
“Efrain has
partnered closely with the team leader and members of the aluminum
department to prioritize setups and ensure that necessary information
is accessible to others on the production floor. He is very
cooperative and is always working toward accomplishing company or
departmental goals.
“Efrain’s work in
programming and modifying robotic programs has helped enhance the
efforts of the maintenance team so that they can focus more of their
time on specific machine-related preventive maintenance programs or
troubleshooting needs.
“He
also has assisted in cross-training other die casters so that they too
can learn and understand some of the setup procedures associated with
robots. Additionally, while providing setup services, Efrain has
provided some of the peripheral functions associated with setups, such
as maintaining sprayers, clamps or shot sleeves, all of which help to
facilitate shorter setup times.”
