staff. Listen to him rave and it’s hard to argue:
“Patti Melton has
worked for Advanced Information Systems for 22 years, working her way
up from parts issue clerk to associate buyer to company buyer with
consistently outstanding performance.
“Our stockroom has
21,000 different types of piece parts, a $5 million inventory that
Melton knows better than anyone. Melton has long had a reputation for
being able to go into the world and find parts that no one else could
find, cheaper than anyone thought we could get them. She is extremely
knowledgeable, efficient and willing to work hard to get our
technicians what they need to do the job.
“She
has a full plate as a buyer, but late last year, she went above and
beyond the call. Material
control lost an employee to a long-term illness. Without complaining
or patting herself on the back, she has quietly covered the open job
while doing her own job. She also trains new employees in the
stockroom.”
