Todays society has alot of good and alot of bad in it. It is our job to bring you the best and worst of what is going on, resources, places to see and things to do.

Holidaying is one of the best things to do in your time off and there are many great places ot visit around the world. Today we are going to focus on Austalia and in particluar  Canberra and Brisbane. First you need to get there and to do that you need cheap flights. Cheap flights are often available from AirAsia with good deals at Christmas and summer. Holidaying in Australia is affordable at the moment with alot of holdiay destinations and holiday accommodation providers such as holiday home owners offering discounted rates due to the gfc and the flooding that happened in Brisbane a year ago.

ASSE approves OSHA budget Request
The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) is pleased with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) budget request for fiscal year 2008 of $490.3 million and intends to support it in its efforts to achieve funding levels from Congress.

“OSHA budgets in recent years have not adequately kept up with inflation and this proposal is a positive effort to help OSHA meet its statutory obligations to protect workers,” ASSE President Donald S. Jones Sr., P.E., CSP, said today. “This budget proposal is a meaningful increase, especially for enforcement and cooperative programs, and is a positive effort to help OSHA meet its statutory obligations to protect workers.”

Adding to OSHA’s enforcement capabilities will result in needed increases in inspections and the staff to conduct them.
